Are you planning a return to the workforce? Perhaps you’ve taken some time off to be with your family, you’ve been travelling, or you’ve decided retirement isn’t quite your style and you want another crack at career fulfilment?
No matter what you’re situation, if you’ve been out of the workforce for a little while, it can be daunting taking that first step to return. And it can also be difficult to ensure that your skills are still relevant and the gaps in your work experience are explained without divulging too much information.
In this workshop, we will talk about how to present your skills and experience in your job application, as well as how to talk about your situation in an interview. We will also cover off on the questions that employers aren’t allowed to ask you and how you can politely decline to answer questions that aren’t quite kosher.
When you leave this workshop you’ll be feeling far more confident about your return to the workforce and how to take steps towards securing your ideal role!
